Java Lane down Police 3-0
View(s):Java Lane SC beat Sri Lanka Police SC 3-0 in the Dialog Champions League Stage Two game played at Police Park yesterday. Java Lane led 1-0 at half time.
The first goal was booted in by Emanuel Uchchena in the 26th minute. The second goal was netted in the 47th minute by Mihaned Rizkkhan, the Java Lane skipper. The last goal was scored by Najibdeen.
N.S.G.N.S. Kumara of Police was shown the Red Card and was ordered off the field.
Three matches in the second stage were scheduled to be played in Matara, Colombo and Kelaniya. All three games were postponed due to bad weather conditions. The called off games were: Colombo FC and Pelicans, Matara City and Moragasmulla game and the Renown SC vs Up Country game.
There are five games scheduled for today and up to now two matches have been cancelled. The cancelled matches are: Saunders SC vs Army SC at Kelaniya Football Complex and the Air Force SC vs Negombo Youth SC at City League grounds.
The other games on for today are: Blue Star SC vs Crystal Palace at Kalutara; New Youngs SC vs Super Sun SC at Wennappuwa and Solid SC vs Navy SC at Anuradhapura. - SP
