A solitary goal by Rishfath enabled Royal Institute to defeat Gateway College, Colombo by one goal to nil in the opening fixture of the International Schools football tournament that commenced at the Hendry Pedris Park recently.

In the other fixtures played on the same day, two goals by Khayyam Rasheed and one each by Jang Pyo Hong, Aron Rahim and Jaah Ziyad gave Elizabeth Moir a convincing 5-0 win.
