Chanith de Silva of St. Thomas College Bandarawela emerged champion in Under-10 Boys Singles category at the Sri Lanka Junior National Tennis Championship 2012 held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) courts in Colombo recently. With the wins at All-Island Open Tennis tournaments held at Bandarawela Tennis Club, Nuwara Eliya Hill Club and Otters Aquatic Club, Chanith consolidated his position as the top ranked player in the Under-10 age category. Over 100 tennis players participated in the Junior National Tournament. The Super ‘A’ Grade tournament was organized by the Sri Lanka Tennis Association.
