STC Matara wins by an innings and 63 runs

St. Thomas' College Matara trounced St. Anne's College Kurunegala by an innings and 63 runs in in their Under-19 division two tournament match at the Welagedara Stadium on Wednesday (22). STC Matara skipper Ashan Ranasingha demolished the home team taking 5/22 and 6/31 and was unlucky to miss his century being caught at mid-on for 97 runs scored in 137 deliveries (17 boundaries).
With this haul Ashan has taken 78 wickets and scored 817 runs this season.
