Ratwatte’s funeral at Bogambara

The funeral of fomer Minister General Anuruddha Ratwatte will be held with full military honours at the Bogambara grounds in Kandy this afternoon.

Family members said his cortege would leave his residence at Mahayaya under a 'ransivige' at 3 p.m. and proceed along D.S.Senanayake Veediya, up to Kotugodella Veediya - Dalada Veediya, where Army personnel would take over the coffin and place it on a gun carriage and proceed with it to the site of the cremation at the Bogamabara grounds car park.
