Monash College is a fully owned subsidiary of Monash University and provides a pathway to Monash University. Upon successful completion of A/Levels, students can commence the Monash College Undergraduate Diploma part 2, which is equivalent to the first year of the Monash University degree. Their entry to 2nd year of Monash University is guaranteed in the fields of Business and Engineering upon successful completion.

Monash University is Australia's largest and most internationally focused university. The significantly high pass rates for Diploma programs in Sri Lanka is the second highest among the Monash College programs worldwide, outperforming even it's parent provider Monash College Melbourne.

The overall pass rate was 89.19% in the summer trimester of 2010. The Diploma of Business (Commerce stream) has secured a remarkable 100% pass rate, while the Diploma of Busines (Business stream) and Diploma of Engineering Studies have also achieved pass rates of 92% and 81.82% respectively.
