As the Senior Assistant Director of undergraduate admissions, Dan Grayson is both the primary recruiter for Asia and the reader of every applicant to Tufts from Sri Lanka for the last three years. In his career, he has reviewed more than 5,000 applications and evaluated tens of thousands of writing samples. He leads online recruitment efforts to allow international students to connect with American schools abroad, with the second admissions website whose launch he has overseen set to go live this fall.

After hosting a weekly radio show around American university admissions, he has been interviewed on Radio Thailand and spoken to newspapers about social media and how international students can identify universities abroad. He travels throughout Asia speaking in schools and public venues about why American universities conduct admissions so differently from the rest of the world and how international students can best navigate an admittedly confusing process.
