The Cambridge Montessori International Center (CMIC) -UK, Est. 1965 Member of Cambridge College of Higher Education (CCHE) (Pvt) Ltd, Est. 1998 Consolidated has evolved directly from courses given by Dr. Maria Montessori between 1944 and 1950. AMI CAMBRIDGE DIPLOMA IN MONTESSORI WITH CHILD PSYCHOLOGY - (Covered over 400 hours theory, practical and teaching practice) The CCHE TEACHER TRAINING COURSE is an educational programme that consists of classroom instruction in the Montessori education and method. Students study child psychology and stages of development, classroom techniques, and demonstration of the Montessori materials for ages 2½ to 6. There are 6 subjects to cover Montessori Method of Education and students have to maintain 6 project files in Exercise of Practical Life, Sensorial Education, Geometry, Language, Arithmetic and Cultural Areas before the final practical and written examinations with the written examinations for Child Psychology and School Management. In addition students have to participate in Teaching Practice at a Montessori Pre School to cover over 240 hours for the one year course or over 500 hours for the two year course. After the successful completion of all the requirements of the Course, students will be awarding Affiliated Montessori International Cambridge Diploma with Child Psychology.

It is registered at the Children's Secretariat of the Ministry of Child Development & Women's Empowerment, National Coordinating Committee on Early Childhood & Development.
