Works of leading female artists at Saskia gallery

Three Sri Lankan women will come together to show their work at the Saskia Fernando Gallery on Dharmapala Mawatha in Colombo this week.

Anoma Wijewardena, Sujeewa Kumari and Nadia Haji Omar are three women whose series of work on paper presents the strength of women artists in the Sri Lankan contemporary art scene today.

‘Sri Lankan. Contemporary. Female’ will run from June 10 to 23 at the Saskia Fernando Gallery, 61, Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 7. Tel 7429010 Open Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday on appointment)
