RCS’ Sing-a-long Sundown party

The Royal Commonwealth Society (Sri Lanka) has spared no pains to provide music lovers the very best that they can ever get in a single night at the incredibly economical price of only Rs 500/- per head.
The night will indeed provide a unique and affordable opportunity of singing along those evergreen, unforgettable, perennial favourites and, after that, grabbing your partner and taking the floor.

A Song Book, replete with 145 songs, will be in your hands as a lasting memento at no additional cost. Padded onto the fun filled evening will be valuable prizes and surprises that include awards for the Best Singing Table, Entrance Ticket Draw, Business Card Draw and the Baila Competition.

To crown it all, the bandstand will be occupied by the Super Stars of Song and Dance, Nalin and the Star Combination. There will be a sensational attraction in the shape and form of the captivating, Anura Palihawadana, the Shadow Star of Gypsies’ Sunil Perera.

The wit and charisma of Sri Lanka’s award winning Compere, Vijaya Corea, will add the necessary colour to this fascinating Sing-a-Long cum Sundown Dance which will be held on Friday, 15 October at 7.30 pm at the Ballroom of the Ceylon Continental Hotel where prices on food and beverage have been slashed for the occasion with an offer of free corkage too.

It might be worth recalling that, last year, every ticket was sold out five days prior to the event. This year, with all this entertainment in a single package for just 500/- Rupees, tickets are already said to be moving pretty fast at Torana, Liberty Plaza, Kollupitiya. Every purchaser of ten tickets will be entitled to a reserved table. If more information is required, the number to dial is 2587474 during office hours.
