Mumbai Jig nights at Cinnamon Lakeside

Out on the Terrace by the Poolside, the Cinnamon Lakeside crew will bring out the Tandoor oven and Chaat station on 9 October for their monthly buffet of Indian cuisine. The ‘Mumbai Jig’ offers an incredible array of Indian food. Snacks frequently prepared on Indian streets and rarely found in Sri Lanka by Chef Rana, the hotel’s very own expert in Indian cuisine.

On Mumbai Jig nights, the Chaat station will churn out Aloo Chaats, Channa Chaats, Mixed Chaats, Papri Chaats and Bhel Puri. Observe their preparation and enjoy them in mouthfuls. The Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo Poolside serves as just the location for a gathering of friends – old and new, as well as family. A spot where relaxation comes naturally, guests can enjoy their company and leave the hosting in the hotel’s capable hands.

Whilst the preliminary Chaats are devoured, the Tandoor oven rolls out fresh Naans and the Kebabs will allure guests with their aroma. The feast continues on with a choice of Chicken or Vegetable Biriyani, Mutton Rara Gosht, Lasooni Murgh Tikka, Mixed Vegetable Curry and Mathitika just to name a few.
From the Gulab Jamuns, golden brown and glistening in syrup, to the colourful Boondhi, juicy Jalebi, Laddu, Carrot Halwa and the varieties of Mithai, the Indian sweetmeats on offer are as pleasing to the palate as they are to the eye. Throughout the night, refreshing drinks of Faluda and Lassi are served, perfectly complementing the spread.

Bollywood music will set the tone for the evening, whilst dancers performing Bollywood songs will spice up the night. A hot deal at Rs. 1,300++, the night begins at 7:30pm and continues until 11:00pm.
