Muhurath for Udayakatha Warnasuriya’s latest film ‘Senasuru Maruwa’ based on script written by late filmmaker and script writer Tissa Abeysekera was held recently in Colombo.
‘Senasuru Maruwa’, a tragic story that revolves around an unusual business deal entered into by two friends and how it affects not only them but their peaceful family lives too, is the seventeenth direction of Udayakantha.
Channa Perera, Lucky Dias, Seshadri, Buddhika Jayaratne, Nimal Anthony, Ajith Weerasinghe, Indika Ginige and Senaka Wijesinghe stars in the film which is scheduled to be filmed in the locations in and around Dambulla, Mullative.
Produced by Ranjith Jayasuriya, Praveen Jayaratne and Ajith Priyantha for Nubion Films, ‘Senasuru Maruwa’ is to be filmed by K. D. Dayananda, edited by Praveen Jayaratne, art directed by Welegedara Ranasinghe, and make up by Wasantha Vittachchi. |
