City University London with a cosmopolitan flavour

Situated in the centre of London, City is located in an ideal location for studying in UK. Add the wide variety of courses and degrees recognized worldwide, and you have an innovative, forward looking centre of excellence.

Courses include undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in:
Engineering: aeronautical, automotive, civil, electrical and mechanical;

Computing: business systems, games technology, software engineering and information technology;
Arts and Social Sciences: journalism, economics, politics, and sociology;

Law: LLB, professional bar course and LLM;
Health: Optometry, radiography and health management;

Business: The Cass Business School is UK's leading provider of education in business and management.

International Scholar (ISES) coordinates student entry to City University and the academic success achieved by past students confirms the value of studying at this prestigious British university established over 100 years ago. Former students from Sri Lanka have been more than happy with the friendly atmosphere which has a distinctly cosmopolitan flavour, as City attracts students from all over Europe and Asia. The university also provides support services to students such as career guidance, workshops to enhance job search and curriculum vitae (CV) preparation skills, personal computing facilities and recreational and social activities.

International students comprise nearly 40% of City's student base and are well looked after by the Student Centre. University halls of residence provide accommodation within walking distance of the main buildings, this option is available for all undergraduates during the first year, and to others on an availability basis.

Mr Jamie Avery from the City International Office will be interviewing students on June 2 from 11am. Please contact ISES (Telephone: Colombo 011 2553466, 011 2593571 or Kandy 081 2389462) to discuss available courses and entry requirements, and to schedule an interview which will be held at our premises in Bambalapitiya.
