Second win for Trinity

Trinity scored their second win in tournament matches in the space of six days when they defeated Revatha MV Balapitiya by an innings and 84 runs at Asgiriya yesterday.

Leg spinner Akila Jayasundara returned to wicket taking ways with a six wicket bag. Under 19 poolist Janith Chaturanga almost stole the spotlight with a blistering 48 ball knock of 57, which contained three sixes and five fours. The rest succumbed easily to Jayasundara’s wiles.
