CARM to host 5th South Asian Regional Workshop

The Center for Advancement of Resource Mobilisation (CARM), established in 2004 as a non-profit organization, builds the capacities of non-profit organisations (NPOs) in relation to programme skills, governance, transparency, accountability, resource management and project management.
Among its many activities, CARM has so far hosted three annual workshops in Sri Lanka for the South Asian region in partnership with Resource Alliance UK.

The next, 5th South Asian Regional Workshop on Resource Mobilisation, titled 'Building sustainability in the Non-Profit Sector' will be held from November 27-29 at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo.

The speakers at the workshop will be GiveIndia Director Venkat Krishnan; South Asia Fund Raising Group Chairman Surat Sandhu; Center for Advancement of Philanthropy Noshir Dadrawala; American India Foundation Director-Communications Ms. Nidhi Raj Kapoor; Habitat for Humanity International Asia-Pacific Manager for Corporate Resources Joseph Scaria; Oxfam India Director Marketing & Communication Kunal Verma; MAS Holdings Director Corporate Branding & the UN Global Compact Focal Point in Sri Lanka Ravi Fernando; and SJMS Associates, Chartered Accountants Partner Ms. Lilani Jayasuriya.
