Prospects Academy for Early Childhood and Primary Education Degree Pathway

Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, recently entered into a partnership with Prospects Academy to provide a credit transfer pathway for students who have successfully completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, awarded by Prospects Academy. Under this articulation agreement, students will receive credit transfer for six modules for the Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education awarded by Monash University.

Commenting on this partnership, the founder and Managing Director of Prospects Academy, Somesh Perera stated: “Prospects Academy has developed a reputation as a leading provider of teacher training qualifications from Diploma to Master’s level in Sri Lanka.  Our Diploma programmes are recognised by several leading universities and colleges in Australia. There is a growing demand for Early Childhood Educators throughout Australia and the industry is projected to further increase until 2025. It is also expected that the number of those employed as Child Careers will increase substantially by 30 per cent between 2021 and 2025, making graduates of the Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education degree, highly sought-after candidates. Early childhood educators in Australia earn between AUD$65,000-90,000 per year.
