With heavy rain plunging the country into a disaster, this aerial picture shows the extent of the flooding in a Puttalam village with roads and houses under several feet of water. Our correspondent Hiran Priyankara Jaysinghe who took this picture said last night the water level was rising with the district experiencing more heavy rains.
