Rs 41m to train Principals in School Administration

The Ministry of Education (MoE) last week said that Rs. 41 million has been allocated for a special programme for Class III Principals that will groom them to face challenges in handling school administration, efficiently.

For this purpose, 3,823 Class III Principals from National and Provincial schools have been selected and will undergo a monthly training programme. As a pilot project, around 1,000 principals will be trained this year.

The programme will focus on 64 Management skills, including successful school management and quality teaching that produces exemplary results in students.

The programme is expected to be completed by 2021, with all candidates awarded certificates of competence at the end of the course.
