Indian Scholarships for Diaspora Children

Eligible candidates can submit their applications on the portal directly by November 30, 2019. The Scholarship programme has been on offer since 2006-07. Under this scheme, assistance is provided to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Non-Resident Indian (NRIs) to pursue Undergraduate courses in Indian Universities/Institutes.
Students belonging to the aforesaid categories, from Sri Lanka, are also eligible for this Scholarship, under which, they are entitled to financial assistance to pursue both Professional and non- Professional courses (except Medical/Paramedical). Only fresh Students (Year I) are eligible to apply. Students who have attended Higher Secondary courses in India are not eligible for this Scholarship.
