Continuing the brilliant performance from Under-13 cricket, Sheran Amindu of St. Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa cracked a 98-ball 134 with 14 boundaries and four towering sixes out of a total of 455 for 9 wickets against St. Xavier’s College, Marawila in a match played for Singer Trophy Division I Under-17 Cricket Tournament at the Albert Peiris grounds in Wennappuwa. In reply St. Xavier’s were bowled out for a mere 53 in 19.1 overs. Sheran He was the captain of Under-13 team in 2014 and also the Under-15 team in 2016.
