Japanese aid for HR Dev. of Public sector execs
View(s):The Japanese Government is to provide assistance for Human Resources Development Scholarships for Public sector executives.
Accordingly, the Cabinet this week approved a proposal by Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera for an agreement with the Japanese International Institute of Coordination.
Under the agreement the Government hopes to obtain funding for the 2nd group of the 3rd phase of this project from 2018-2021.
The 1st phase of the scholarship was from 2010-2013, while the 2nd phase was from 2014-2017.
