Chathurya, Tehan and Dilvan to represent Sri Lanka at Junior Davis Cup
View(s):Chathurya Nilaweera, Tehan Wijemanne and Dilvan Herath will represent Sri Lanka at the Junior Davis Cup, which is to be held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) courts in Colombo from March 4 to 9.
A total of 17 countries namely — Pacific Oceania, Singapore, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Vietnam and hosts Sri Lanka will vie for honours in the Under-16 Boys team championship.
Two out of the 17 countries will make it to the next stage after the completion of the event. The trio and first reserve Nelaka Dissanayake are being coached by Sudantha Soysa.
