Piliyandala Central’s dashing right hand batsman Chamod Sandaru, playing in the Under-19 Division II Cricket Tournament has reached the magical 1000 run mark this season. Sandaru has scored four hundreds with a top score of 114 not out coming against St. Peter’s College, Negombo in a match in which he scored twin centuries.
He has also scored four half centuries and averages over 55 runs per innings in 14 matches. Chamod has remained unbeaten on six occasions, while striking form at crucial games to help his side perform well.
