New heads at CEB and subsidiaries
View(s):Rakitha Jayawardena, who previously served as member of the SriLankan Airlines Board of Directors, was appointed as the Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) this week. Rajeev Selvarajah was appointed Vice Chairman while Tissa Jinadasa was appointed Working Director.
The other members of the Board are Secretary, Ministry of Industry and Commerce K D N Ranjith Asoka, Treasury Representative R Semasinghe and Director General of the Presidential Investigation Unit Ruban Wickramarachchi.
The newly-appointed CEB Board appointed members to Lanka Electricity Company Private Limited (LECO), Lanka Coal Company (Private) Limited, Lanka Transformers (Pvt) Limited and Sri Lanka Energy (Pvt) Ltd, all subsidiaries of CEB.
