Visitors to most productive School in Southern Province

A group of teachers from the Sella-Kataragama Vidyalaya in the Uva Province, visited the Nedigamwila Junior School in Hambantota this week, to see for themselves the developments at the school, which has made it the most productive school in the Southern Province for the 4th successive year.

The School has been judged the Best School based on its projects which emphasises practical learning for students, as much as the theoretical teachings, outdoor classrooms, Agriculture based studies, Media Unit and a Museum depicting village life.
Nedigamwila Junior School Principal P.N.M. Kumarasinghe and the Sella-Kataragama Vidyalaya Primary School Head J.L.T. Sandya Kanthi were present during the visit.
