‘Kalana Mithuru – Poth Sumithuru’ to encourage the Reading habit
View(s):A programme to improve the reading habit among schoolchildren, known as ‘Kalana Mithuru – Poth Sumithuru’, was ceremonially launched by President Maithripala Sirisena as Chief Guest. Students received a collection of books from the President, to mark the event. Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam was present at the event held at the Presidential Secretariat.
