St. Joseph’s Swimmers take top spots

Dishen Ranaweera and Nuwinu Perera of St. Joseph’s took the first and second slots at the recently concluded annual 44th Ambalangoda Open Two Mile swim which was held at Ambalangoda.

The duo was followed by A.M. Anura Sampath of Army who succeeded to emerge overall champions by securing 91 points with the Josephians three points behind in second place.

Five other swimmers from St. Joseph’s Brinstone Peiris, Eshan Sovis, Dasitha Waduragoda, Chandraprakash Ramesh and Sandaru Abeydeera succeeded to finish among the top 25.-MSA
