Vijaya takes hockey plum

View(s): Vijaya College Matale continued their supremacy in hockey, to emerge unbeaten champions in the Boys Group D to take away Golden Star Award for the second consecutive year at the All-Island Schools Under-13 Boys Hockey Carnival 2015 concluded at Edward Park Hockey ground in Matale.
They beat Maris Stella Negombo 2-0 and then beat Dharmaduta College Badulla 1-0. Their match again Vidyartha Kandy ended in a nil-all draw.
A total of 32 boys teams, divided into eight groups participated in the boys segment and the first three places in each group were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
