Waters Edge welcomes Indian Prime Minister
View(s):Waters Edge had the privilege of entertaining Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, when Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe hosted the visiting Indian dignitary and 200 local parliamentarians for lunch earlier this month. General Manager of Waters Edge Rohan Fernandopulle together with Director Sales and Marketing Thilanka Muthukumarana and his team welcomed the Indian Premier in traditional style.
The menu designed by Executive Chef Buddhika Samarasekara featured Sri Lankan dishes with a twist of fusion. The local delicacies included ‘Mini crispy hoppers with seeni sambol and coconut sambol’ , ‘ Spicy sweet corn and potatoes stuffed capsicum with tomato and coriander dip’ as well as traditional Dutch lamprais.
The event was held at the Lounge, overlooking the Grand Lawn of Waters Edge.
