Army, Slimline pugilists dominate
View(s):Pugilists from defending champions Army BC and last years runner up Slimline BC dominated proceedings in the semi-finals of the 89th National Boxing Championship held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.
The semi-final bouts were in progress and at the time of going to press the two teams had three of the boxers qualifying to the final while Air Force and Navy had a boxer each. The curtain of the 89th National Boxing Championship will come down today with the final in both the men’s and women’s categories scheduled to be worked off from 3.00 p.m. onwards.
