CCC School of Cricket held at the Thurstan ground in Colombo.

Tendulkar House emerged champions pushing down Sobers House into second place and defending champions Jayasuriya House to the third slot.

The overall winners Tendulkar House won two age categories, the Under-13 and Under-11 and also became runners-up in the Under-12 age group. Bradman House won the Under-15 age category beating Sobers House while also finishing second in the Under-13 and Under-10 age groups. Sobers House did better to win the Under-12 championship. Jayasuriya House, who won the Under-10 age category, also became the Under-11 runners-up.

The CCC School of Cricket, one of the premier cricket coaching school in the island, was inaugurated in 1998 under coach Nelson Mendis. The tournament coincides with the 16th anniversary of the CCC School of Cricket where almost all of the national level players were one-time students of the game.

Former Test and ODI cricketer and current Sri Lanka Under-17 and Under-15 coach Roger Wijesuriya graced the occasion as the chief guest at the final. Nelson Mendis, the Director of Coaching delivering a speech congratulated the winners for their commitment and hard work and advised others to work harder to achieve success in the future. Harsha Peiris, the CEO of CCC School of Cricket, in his address thanked everyone who contributed their pound to

make the event a success and paid special tribute to the members of the executive committee, coaches and parents who also worked hard and rendered their support in many ways to make the celebrations a grand success.
