IPM Lifetime Gold Award for Dr. Ajantha Dharmasiri
View(s):Dr. Ajantha Dharmasiri became the recipient of the prestigious IPM Lifetime Gold Award 2014, presented to an HR professional for outstanding achievements in the field of HR. This honour was bestowed upon him at the inauguration of the National HR Conferece (NHRC) 2014 with the theme “redefining HR for boosting performance”.
In the citation, read by IPM President Samitha Perera, who was the winner of the same award last year, Dr. Dharmasiri was highlighted as an HR professional who “portrays a unique blend of being a proactive practitioner, competent consultant and an acclaimed academic. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, he has proven himself as a sought-after HR thought leader”.
Dr. Dharmasiri is a Senior Lecturer attached to the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and also serves as an Adjunct Professor in International Human Resource Management at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma, USA.
