The event is an official FIA championship that is held in a diverse range of countries, climates, and cultures, with a huge population base of over 2.5 billion people. Ranked as an extension to FIA’s apex World Rally Championship, the Asia Pacific Rally championship is the leading Rally Championship for Asia Pacific and is also considered to be a top contender for the region’s premier event, according to an EZY Racing media release.

EZY Racing, which became the very first motor racing team in the country to be set up as a professional motor racing company in 2010, said it has commenced operations with a vision of becoming the very first motor racing team from the island to participate internationally within five years of operations. Their acceptance into the Asia Pacific Rally Championship is now perceived to be the beginning of a new journey as they realise their vision of making history,” it said “Participating in a FIA (governing council for motor racing, worldwide) is not an easy task. It is not as simple as waking up on one particular day and deciding that we want to buy an air ticket and take our cars along. The preparation takes months,” said a spokesperson from the team.
