Three children plays representing different periods and styles will go on the boards on September 13, 14 and 15 at the Lionel Wendt theatre Colombo.

Dayananda Gunawardene’s children plays “Nari Bena” and “Jasaya saha Lenchina” featuring Sri Lankan cultural dance and music will be staged on September 13 at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm. The plays are widely popular among both children and adults and had been on the run for several decades.

Nalaka Swarnathilake’s two modern children plays “Mama Wenama Malak” which won two awards for the Best Child Actress and Best Supportive Child Actress and “Dangamalla saha amuthu iskoole” a play adopted from the book “The naughtiest girl in school” by the famous child author Enid Blyton which is translated to 40 languages worldwide will be staged on September 14 and September 15 respectively.

All seats are box planned and tickets available at the theatre.
