‘Pregnant Man’ at Punchi Theatre
View(s):‘Gabbara Minisa” (Pregnant Man), a comedy stage play directed by experienced actor Sriyantha Mendis, will have a special show on September 14 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. at Namel Malani Punchi Theater.
Sarath Kothalawela, Wasantha Vittachchi, Malkanthi Jayasinghe, Sujeewa Priyalal, Mihiri Priyangani, Kusum Renu and Sriyantha himself play in the main cast while technical crew will include Wasantha Vittachchi as make-up artist, Nipuni Mindis-costume designer, Upali Weerasinghe stage lighting and Himashi Vithanage and Sameera Hettiarachchi- stage management.
Music by professional music director Anthony Surendra while popular Derana dream star Upeka Nirmani does vocal renditions to the drama chorographed by senior lecturer Ariyarathne Kaluaarachchi.
“Gabbara Minisa” (Pregnant Man) is an adoption of Ajith Mendis from the book written by W.S. Wijesinghe and it is organized and presented by Jude Srimal.
