Rangapema Ivarai in town

‘Rangapema Ivarai’ (Adieu to Acting) theatrical performance of seasoned actors Kamal Addararachchi and Sriyantha Mendis will be staged today, August 4 at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm at Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Borella.
Rangapema Ivarai is produced by Udayasiri Wickremaratne who earlier made ‘Suddek Oba Arnathai’ (A White man addresses you), a stage play which was performed for more than 100 shows and won the Best Music Score and Best Script at the State Drama Festival 2010.
The other artists in the play include Subuddhi Lakmali and Lalith Wickremaratne. Lighting will be handled by Chandana Aluthge and make-up by Wasantha Vittachchi. Choreographer of the play is Prof. Ariyaratne Kaluarachchi, while costume design is by Kamal Addararachchi.
Stage management will be handled by Rohitha Jayakody and Chamara Sandaruwan while the shows will be organized by Jude Srimal. Tickets are available at Namel Malini Punchi Theatre.
