Most Focused Higher Education & Career Exhibition, ADYAPANA. This pioneering institution which has understood and nurtured the very best in youth; where mere boys went in and great men came out to be “men and gentlemen always” men who beat the odds with the legendary “Thomian grit”. In this true spirit S.Thomas’ College together with the Old Boys’ Association has partnered with this event building a new era for the exhibition as it is set to provide the most suitable and tailor made services to the student community of Sri Lanka due to the partnership with a prestigious private school.STC with over a century and half of unparalleled excellence has over the years produced men who have gone on to serve the nation and humanity as a whole in all specified fields, industries and academia.

The partnership with the exhibition will most certainly ensure that future generations of A student family will garner the best opportunities in furthering their future careers.

Prof. Indra De Zoysa the Warden of S. Thomas’ college said that the initiative will help students who are confined with options in education to expand them.

“We all want an educated student community who will serve the country and humanity as a whole. The initiative by the Old Boys Association I believe will provide one of the best opportunities for the wider student community of the country to experience and weigh options that are available to them in furthering their education. One of the main problems the students who have completed their Advanced Level or Ordinary Levels are faced with is the fact that they dont know the options that are available for them to further their educational aspirations and this exhibition would be the ideal starting point in helping them make their decision” he said.
The Presidential Award winners, Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services (LECS) is of the belief that the partnership will ensure maximum participation from high income groups who are in fact focused on educating their children, while providing the ideal platform for each student in Sri Lanka to witness the best and most comprehensive education services under one roof.

The event is renowned due to the participation of all leading education institutions, counselors, school leavers, students and the wider community seeking to further career guidance during the exhibition.

Over the years ADYAPANA- unlike any other education exhibition has built a reputation for its focus on ensuring the welfare of the students providing them the best opportunity to meet and discuss a wide range of service provides locally & internationally.

Thus, the visitors the exhibition have narrowed down to being the best potential education seekers in the current context. Instead of attracting a commercial ‘visitor profile’ ADYAPANA has ensured that the quality of the visitors are confined to the most focused students who are in actual fact looking towards furthering their education both in Sri Lanka and overseas.

The exhibition held once year, is considered to be of optimum timing for students to seek greener pastures in education. The completion of the Local Advanced Level examination in August and the London Advanced level examination in June provides students with the best time to consider future options in furthering their education.

Many parents in the country today are more focused than ever before to ensure the best education is provided to their children and have therefore, over the years, made use of ADYAPANA as the ideal opportunity to visit and consider all options available for the furthering of their education- both secondary and tertiary.

Shanil Jayasekara Treasurer of the S. Thomas’ College Old Boys Association said that he believes the exhibition will be the best and most comprehensive platform for all students.

“As much as it is for the students of S. Thomas’ – we believe that this partnership will give students across the country one of the best opportunities to experience and take a decision of their future. We believe that an exposure to available opportunities is a dire need in the country for the general student population and the ADYAPANA Exhibition has over the years built a reputation for its focus and comprehensiveness, in catering to this need” he said.

Imran Hassan, Director of LECS said that the partnership will ensure the Sri Lankan students are given maximum opportunity to experience and make a decision for themselves as to the future path they wish to seek.

“The partnership adds a new dimension to the exhibition as a whole. We are then more sensitive towards the exact needs of the youth, hence this as an opportunity to ensure all students are given a fair and comprehensive opportunity to make a decision for their future” he said. During the three days students will be given an opportunity to experience and witness firsthand the opportunities available to them, with education service providers, leaders in industries, counselors, and all individuals and entities that are likely to play a pivotal part in a student’s education.

The exhibition will be held for the 8th consecutive year.
