Aspirations International Education Exhibition which was organized by Aspirations Education for the 7th consecutive year, concluded on Sunday, July 14th marking the end of another fruitful edition of the annual event. This year’s event was held at the Galadari Hotel on July 13th and 14th and more than 30 prestigious universities representing Australia, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand took part in the event.

AIEE 2013 was ceremonially opened on Saturday, July 13th and it was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Sirimali Fernando, former Chairperson of National Science Foundation, Guest of Honour, His Excellency Azmi Zainuddin, High Commissioner of Malaysia and Mr. David Samuel, Business Development Manager, Austrade representing Australian High Commission. Mr. AjithAbeysekara, Chairman of Aspirations Education welcomed the guestsand the representatives from leading International Schools in Sri Lanka.
The event attracted more than 3000 visitors over the two days. Keen students and their parents who visited the event reaped the benefits of the exhibition by exploring the study options available for them in internationally accredited Universities and higher education institutes. The exhibition catered to the needs of these enthusiastic students by providing a unique opportunity to have ‘one on one’ interviews with the university representatives. This provided an exclusive platform for students to gain information about wide range of areas such as study programmes, career opportunities, living cost and conditions, availability of accommodation, transport and other practical aspects pertaining to studying abroad.

Aspirations education is a premier International career guidance and student placement service center that has been operating for over 8 years. Those who missed the exhibition could still contact Aspirations Education to obtain benefits and incentives made available to them at the exhibition by certain universities and institutions.

The special feature this time was the stall of Aspirations Education Foundation which was able to inform the students and parents the services rendered by the foundation to the less privileged students of rural and marginalized schools in over 20 districts of Sri Lanka.
