IPM provides the HR Advantage

Vice President IPM and Chairman-Consultancies, Corporate Affairs and Career guidance committee Dhammika Fernando, explaining the necessity for a concept such as this and the advantages an organization gains through this service, pointed out that IPM consultancy services comprises the combined expertise of some of the top-notch HR personnel of the island. Further he emphasized that it is convenient and profitable for an organization to outsource its specialized and advanced HR skill needs as opposed to retaining under its payroll several HR personnel to fulfill the different needs, arising at different times, of the organization. The IPM, with its fame for providing innovative and opportune HR skills and services, has been offering a range of HR related consultancy services, and since 2012 with the initiation of a special unit at the institute dedicated for consultancy, the IPM is fully geared to provide consultancy services in the more structured manner.
And today the IPM consultancy team, comprising 20 leads and 50 associates, has the capacity to cater to the varied needs of different industries. Dhammika Fernando explained that the HRM consultancy services afforded by the IPM include all HR needs of the organization; from recruiting to training and development, to promotions, to retaining employees, as well as complementary services such as HR strategy and policy design and implementation, and health and safety management. Further, he explained, that the consultancy services offered include a follow-up on how the organization is progressing.Dhammika Fernando further stated that due to the combined knowledge and experiences the IPM consultancy team has the capacity to provide the most advanced HR services tailored to suit the individual organizations.
