The happiest day in my life
View(s):The happiest day in my life was the day we went to Disneyland in Japan. Due to the heavy traffic jam in Tokyo it took several hours for us to get there, since we travelled by car from a friend’s place. When we finally arrived at the destination I was awestruck. Though not very eco-friendly, this enormous place was full of colour and glamour.
We took a tour of the Disney palaces and visited the Three Bears’ cottage and the cottage of Snow White.
We met plenty of familiar cartoon . characters such as Peter Pan, Cinderella, Snow White, Donald Duck, Mickey and Minnie, Goofy and many others who shook hands with us while they were mingling with the crowds. We went on a jumbo merry-go-round where the seats were shaped like horses in ‘Cinderella’ with their beautiful plumes, which bobbed up and down when the music started.
We also rode on the ‘Dumbo Plane’ which went high in the sky at a mere touch of a button. I was lucky enough to watch both morning and night parades and various other musical shows which were indeed very rare. This remarkable day ended with a splendid firework display which made me think that it was really a dream come true. How I wish I could go there again!
