Trinity College Kandy and Royal College Colombo drew their 9th annual hockey encounter in a 1-1 draw at the Asgiriya International Stadium yesterday.

The encounter was played for J.C.A. Corea Trophy. For Royal Danuja Gunasekera scored and for the Trinitians Sachithra Amrawansa found the goal.

Trinity was led by S. Sudharshan and Royal was led by Hussain Kuthubdeen. Royal lead the series with 4 wins and Trinity has 3 wins under their belt with 2 games ending in no decisions.

The game was controlled by Roshan Hemantha and M. Paramendra.

Meanwhile the Old Boys encounter which was played for Col. Bertie Dias Memorial Trophy (one of the best rugby coaches produced by Trinity),Trinity beat Royal 2-0. The goals for Trinity were scored by M.U. M. Anfas and Anton Brevendra.
