Queen Mary’s Grammar School from England, who are on a short cricketing tour of Sri Lanka, have posted three wins and suffered one defeat.

In their first encounter at Asgiriya, they defeated Trinity College by six wickets, followed it up with a 116-run win over the RSA Academy at Kurunegala and a five wicket win over Wesley College at Campbell Park. Their only defeat was at the hands of Thurstan College ground, where the MCA Cricket Academy posted a six-wicket win over them.

At Asgiriya. QMGS beat Trinity College by six wickets. Trinity College 52 in 18 overs (L. Boniface 3 for 10, T. Bunn 2 for 1)

QMGS 56 for 4 in 12.1 overs (T. Bunn 13, Sasmitha 3 for 12)

At Kurunegala. QMGS beat RSA Academy by 116 runs.

QMGS 220 for 5 in 25 overs (T. Bunn 50, L. Boniface 50, K. Patel 21, H. Bhogal 25, S. Dewsbury 13)

RSA 84 in 25 overs (Supun 36, M. Doyle 2 for 27, J. Benning 2 for 9, L. Boniface 2 for 11, N. Rai 2 for 7)

At Campbell Park. QGMS beat Wesley by five wickets.

Wesley College 119 in 23.4 overs (Shamod 44, Jason 26, S. Bhogal 2 for 15, L. Boniface 3 for 12)

QMGS 120 for 5 in 21.4 overs (M. Hyde 42 n.o. J. Benning 20, Jason 2 for 21)

At Thurstan MCA CA beat QMGS by 6 wickets

QMGS 75 in 24.2 overs (K. Patel 19, J. Benning 16, E. Jaysinghe 4 for 12, H. Yogendra 3 for 9)

MCA CA 76 for 4 in 18 overs (K. Abeyratne 21, E. Jayasinghe 25 n.o., M. Hyde 2 for 10, J. Benning 2 for 20)
