The Phd and Master programmes are research-based and the degrees will be awarded by MSU on the successful completion of a thesis. Examination is by assessment of the thesis and the research on which it is based. A viva voce is required for the PhD programme. Taught programmes (coursework) only applied for Master's degree with for very specific areas. Assessment of these taught programs is by assignments and written examination.
