United Tractor introduces Bitelli BB650 asphalt paver to Sri Lanka

United Tractor and Equipment (UTE) sole agents in Sri Lanka for Caterpillar recently handed over two Bitelli Asphalt Pavers to the Road Development Authority (RDA)

Typical applications of these pavers include paving of city streets, town centres, parking lots, industrial sites resurfacing projects as well as maintenance and repair work, the company said in a statement.
Bitelli, an Italian Manufacturing company, is a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc. the world’s largest manufacturer of construction equipment and engines.

Janak Edirisinghe, UTE’s General Manager Machine Sales, said that now that the focus for development will be shifting to road construction, UTE together with Caterpillar have the right combination of equipment solutions for efficient and effective road building quipped.
