BCAS Chairman Mr Abdul Rahuman with BCAS students transfered to follow final year at Univercity of Wolverhampton

BCAS with the wealth of more than 10 years of experiences in the field of higher education in Sri Lanka has become one of the most sought after institution that provides quality higher education at affordable prices. The young students are thus moulded to face professional challenges in a global scenario. While BCAS offers variety of study programmes from degree foundation to BTEC HND Level for globally recognized qualifications in the fields like Computing, BIT, Software Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering , Quantity Surveying, Business Management , it is one of the leading vocational study centre of its sort in Sri Lanka to offer innovative 100% vocational training with guarantee of immediate employment in the construction industry.

Students at BCAS are inspired and challenged to achieve their academic aspirations by its faculty lectures who are well qualified with degrees and Masters Degrees with substantial industrial experience in the fields - Engineering, Computing, IT, Building Studies and the like. School of Computing, School of Building Studies, School of English Language Training and the student placement office are BCAS divisions.

Edexcel UK approved HND awards are equivalent to first two years of degree studies. With this qualification earned after 18 months of strenuous learning, the students can comfortably find placements in more than 100 universities in the UK and USA direct into the final year or second year of the respective degree. Thus students are thus able to save a substantial amount in terms of tuition fee, etc studying for the full period overseas.

Tree years ago, BCAS added in line with the vision two new fields of studies known as Quantity Surveying, CAD and Building Studies. While CAD & BS is a professional training to create CAD experts to work in Construction Industry especially in the Middle East, QS courses give the students an alternative path to earn a UK degree in QS along with professional membership from the RICS.
The fact that the Centre devised Quantity Surveying programme has been approved by Edexcel is a further endorsement of the quality and academic standards of the curriculum and course delivery. It gives the students wider options of career progressions than ever before. It is worth mentioning here that currently the distinct qualification title "BTEC HND in Quantity Surveying" could be used only by the BCAS. This programme was designed and offered by BCAS realizing the immediate demand globally existing for Quantity Surveyors who provide a range of services, including cost advice and forecasting, contractual advice, cost control and financial management of construction projects from inception to completion.

This type of work provides an excellent basis for progression to management positions throughout the career. BCAS unique agreement with the University of Wolverhampton, UK enables its students to complete their B.Sc. (Hons) degree in just 10 - 15 months depending on whether they prefer non-RICS track. It must be mentioned BCAS is the only institution that gives the shortest top-up pathway for BTEC HND in Quantity Surveying.

Almost all students successfully completing BCAS job oriented courses get well-paid employment immediately after their graduation in Sri Lanka or abroad at very young age. So there is no need for wasting of time after O/L or A/L. Enroll at BCAS and Become graduates before you turn 21 and all these are possible with an affordable sum of money.
