This was Ananda’s eighth outright win for the season and the sixth in-a-row.

His match figures of 5 for 45 in the first innings followed by figures of 6 for 63 in the second innings wrecked the Thomian innings to an identical scores of 126 in both innings.

This left the home team a tough target of 90 runs to win in 14 overs which they reached it in the first ball of the 13th over.

Led by Sri Lanka youth player Dinesh Chandimal they are yet to be beaten’ though they have conceded first innings leads to some their opponents. However they have sprung back into action to turn it into outright victories for them and they will be the side to beat this season.
