Bhanuka Adithya shone with an unbeaten 167 for St. John’s College, Panadura in the drawn 27th Battle of the Greens big match against Royal College, Panadura concluded at De Zoysa Stadium in Moratuwa yesterday. Bhanuka’s knock comprised 21 boundaries and two sixes. He shared three partnerships – 85 for the opening wicket with Sadew Pahasara, 180 runs for the third wicket with Tharul Laksanda and an unbroken stand of 52 runs for the fourth wicket with Madusha Mendis to help St. John’s make a formidable score of 325-3. Royal Panadura, in their turn made 206 runs when the match was called off due to bad light.
