ICBS Celebrates Academic and Sporting Excellence at SQA Graduation Ceremony and Colours Night 2026

Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS) hosted the SQA Graduation Ceremony together with Colours Night 2026 at the Centre for Banking Studies, celebrating both academic and sporting excellence. The event brought together students, parents, faculty, and distinguished guests for an evening of recognition and achievement.
More than 100 graduates were formally conferred with their qualifications, marking a significant milestone in their academic journeys. In addition, over 70 students were honoured for outstanding performances in sports during the 2024 and 2025 seasons, reflecting ICBS’ strong commitment to holistic development.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Miss Margaret Curran, International Regional Manager South Asia of the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). Her presence reaffirmed ICBS’ international partnerships and its dedication to delivering globally recognised qualifications. The institution’s senior leadership, including the Dean, Deputy Dean, and directors, were also in attendance, underscoring their commitment to academic distinction and student success.
Guest of Honour Mr. Dilantha Malagamuwa inspired student athletes, who were recognised for representing ICBS in sports such as Cricket, Rugby, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Netball, Swimming, and Athletics.
Graduates received qualifications in Business and Business Management specialisations, reflecting ICBS’ focus on practical, industry-relevant education.
