SLUCSM conducts leadership and charity programmes

The Sri Lanka University Catholic Students’ Movement (SLUCSM) held a two-day residential leadership programme for leaders of the state universities on November 8 and 9 at the Sacred Heart Novitiate Retreat House in Bandarawela.
Rev Fr Dudley Saparamadu OMI, Novice Master, and Rev Fr Gihan OMI facilitated the programme, turning it into an inspiring and unforgettable experience. Fr Saparamadu spoke on the role of a leader and the importance of empathetic behaviour.
SLUCSM also organised another charity programme, which included classes and various sports activities to animate and uplift the children of Lama Kriyakari Veerayo (LKV), a children’s movement of OMI Fathers’ Congregation at Ellathota in the Badulla District, as well as a social charity project for the welfare of the Novices of the Sacred Heart Novitiate in Bandarawela.
