Minight Club drives Sri Lanka’s classic Mini community towards digital transformation
The Minight Club hosted its second Annual General Meeting on November 15 at the iconic Galle Face Hotel, marking a historic milestone in the journey of Sri Lanka’s classic Mini Cooper enthusiasts. The evening was graced by Anderson Haran, renowned standup comedian and influencer, who joined as the chief guest. Haran was also officially announced as the Brand Ambassador of Minight Club, adding star power and excitement to the event.

The highlight of the evening was the exhilarating rally from Marine Drive to Galle Face Hotel, with club flags waving proudly, celebrating both the spirit of Minight and the community it represents. Sri Lanka Traffic Police Department supported the rally, with a pilot escort bike ensuring smooth movement, under the instructions of Sanjeewa Dharmaratne, the Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police, Western Province, who facilitated the arrangements.
The event also marked a digital transformation for the Minight Club, with the launch of the newly rebranded Minight logo, the official Minight website, and the exclusive members portal, tools designed to connect, engage, and empower Sri Lanka’s Mini Cooper community like never before. The second AGM of the Minight Club stood as a milestone in the evolution of the Sri Lankan Mini community, uniting enthusiasts, strengthening connections, and embracing the digital era. The agreements were formalised under the guidance of the club’s legal advisor, Chamila Shayamini.
